A basic, slower-paced yoga class featuring the foundational poses of Hatha yoga including standing, seated, shoulder and hip postures, inversions, twists, back bends and forward bends. Learn breathing and relaxation techniques, postural alignment, core stability and how to be more present in your mind, body and spirit. Build strength & balance to support the mobility of your whole, unique body in activities of daily living and graceful aging.
Modifications will be offered for orthopedic concerns

Appropriate for most levels. Hatha flow yoga based on principles of biomechanics. Adapt and progress breath-based essential poses which include standing, seated, shoulder and hip postures, inversions, twists, back bends and forward bends intended to support the mobility of your whole unique body.
Offered twice on Tuesday so you can start or end your day with a class

Using self-massage, rest, relaxation and breath, we literally roll away tension, release trigger points, and ease sore & tired muscles with self-myofascial release therapy balls. Restore balance to your nervous system, muscles and joints. Class closes with a relaxed body, gentle restorative Savasana and guided relaxation.
